Install KeneDue on your device

KeneDue is a website and an app in one. Install it once and it opens like any app — with its own icon, notifications, and offline access.

Windows, Mac & Linux

Chrome or Edge

  1. Open kenedue.com in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a small monitor with a down arrow), or open the ⋮ menu and choose “Install KeneDue”.
  3. Confirm. KeneDue opens in its own window and pins to your taskbar or dock like any other app.

No install icon? It appears a moment after the page finishes loading. The ⋮ menu route always works.

Android

Chrome

  1. Open kenedue.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap “Install” on the floating KeneDue card at the bottom of the screen — or open the ⋮ menu and tap “Install app” (older versions: “Add to Home screen”).
  3. Confirm. The KeneDue icon lands on your home screen, and reminders arrive as normal notifications.

Dismissed the card? The ⋮ menu route brings it back; the card itself reappears after a few days.

iPhone & iPad

Safari only

  1. Open kenedue.com in Safari — other browsers cannot install apps on iPhone.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”, then tap Add.
  4. Open KeneDue from your home screen and allow notifications when asked, so reminders reach you.

On iPhone, reminders only arrive from the installed app — not from the Safari tab — so this step matters.

Once installed, sign in and your due dates, groups, and documents are exactly where you left them — the app and the website share one account.

  • Project First: your company's projects at a glance

Project First is the view architectural and engineering firms asked for: projects on top, each holding its works, phases and tasks, with the tracker drawing them on a timeline. Switch from the account menu; the classic view stays one tap away.

    1. Open the account menu (your initials, top right) and choose "Switch to Project First".
    2. The Hub opens: company name, the quick buttons New task and New project, and four tiles — active projects, tasks in progress, flagged tasks, and this week's team load.
    3. Below the tiles: the tasks that need attention, every project's progress bar, and the departments strip.
    4. The bottom bar now reads Hub · Projects · Tasks · Tracker · Team. Groups, Documents, Notifications and Billing live in the account menu.
  • A project, its works and phases, and the tasks inside

A project is the frame around the work for one client. Works (Architectural Design, Structural Design, Site Supervision…) come from your company's scheme; each may have phases (Schematic, Preliminary, Final Design, Permit Processing). Tasks sit in a work or a phase and carry a start date, planned hours and progress.

    1. Projects → New project: name, client, address, dates, and whether the end date is fixed or follows the latest task.
    2. The works and phases are pre-filled from the company scheme; add, rename or remove them on the Works tab.
    3. Two groups are created with the project: a Private one for the team and a Public one the client may join.
    4. Add tasks from the Tasks tab (or Tasks → New task): pick the work and phase, set start and due dates, planned hours, and who does it.
    5. A task can wait as a draft until you publish it, on a date you choose, or when its start date arrives. Members see it only once it is live.
    6. Progress is logged from the status update: a percentage or hours. Works, phases and the project add it up, weighted by planned hours.
    7. The Report tab prints the project — identity, progress, works and phases, tasks and the Gantt — as a PDF.
  • The tracker: your year, quarter, month, week and day on one timeline

The tracker draws projects and tasks as bars, in the Ethiopian or the Gregorian calendar, framed the way you plan.

    1. Year: your fiscal year (set it under Settings → Company — Hamle 1 for the government year) with its months as columns; one bar per project.
    2. Quarter: three real months from the fiscal start; Pagume rides along with the quarter it falls in.
    3. Month: days as columns; switch the rows between projects and tasks grouped under their project.
    4. Week: seven days from your week start, with each task's hours this week and a load strip per person against the company's weekly capacity.
    5. Day: one row per person with the tasks touching the day, their hours against a working day's share.
    6. Flip the calendar with the Gregorian / Ethiopian switch: the same bars, the axis re-cut and re-labelled. Every framing is a link you can share.
